Role Responsibility: SENIOR WORKS CONTROLLER Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE G4S Facilities Management we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Works Controller to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis based at Churchill Hospital, Oxford. This role is responsible for the management of all Contractors undertaking Planned and Reactive work across two health care contracts (Churchill and NOC). You will review SSoW documentation, raise authorisation documentation, ensure required resources are in place, coordinate with Head of Hard FM for planned and reactive works compliance, identify necessary resources with FM team, conduct internal audits to confirm compliance with HTM and guidelines. Responsibilities Responsible for booking in all Contractors who undertake Planned, Corrective and Remedial works. Ensuring that these works are booked in accordance with the annual schedule. Liaise with Procurement as required for quotations for all additional, Reactive and Corrective works undertaken by external contractors. Check all RAMS reviewing SSoWs and issue Permits to Work as required. Provide weekly updates on PPM performance, repairs and critical assets for review. To review current PPM schedules with the Asset Manager regularly and recommend any changes required. Recommend improvements where required To ensure compliance with current standards and regulations and provide H&S with relevant documentation for audits. Ensure all audits are supported and corrective actions are addressed within agreed timeframes. Provide management support, undertake PDRs, organise training and recruitment. Ensuring that resources are correctly allocated and all work streams are supported. Development of staff to manage and effectively schedule via the CAFM system, planned and corrective works for the Operational Staff and ensure that work records are accurately returned and maintained. Contribute to development to the annual operating plan, in so far as relates to cost within area of responsibility. Report on all health and safety incidents, accidents and near misses together with DWB’s. Deputise for Hard FM Managers as and where required, across both Churchill and NOC sites The Ideal Candidate: Essential Management experience IOSH managing safely Experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment Trade qualifications (Electrical and/or Mechanical) Microsoft Office package. Good IT literacy skills. Knowledge of CAFM systems Desirable NEBOSH or similar Understanding of CDM Regulations 2017.
