Administrative/Finance Officer
St Stephen’s CE Primary School
TITLE: Administration and finance officer 36 hours per week Term Time only plus 2 weeks.
Grade G Salary from £33,366 - SCP 28 £37,938 (Pro rata)
Due to the retirement of the current finance officer, the Governors of this welcoming, friendly and caring Church of England Primary School wish to appoint an Administration and finance officer to be part of our successful, hardworking and dedicated staff team. This is a new role in school and will support us on our journey ahead.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who is able to use their initiative and work independently as well as having excellent self-organisation skills and a flexible approach to managing workload in a busy office environment. Previous experience of working in this or a similar role within a school or knowledge of the packages used is beneficial.
There is some flexibility within the hours set but these will be around 'office hours' and the school day.
The role involves being a lead member of the office/ site staff and the successful candidate will work very closely with the Head Teacher as well as the LEA finance team and payroll for higher level finances.

4. Demonstrate the ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion
5. Work under pressure managing competing priorities

Provide administration and financial admin support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the school and must be familiar with (or willing to train to effectively use) packages ie. FMS, SIMS, webpage management, budgeting software.
