What You’ll Be Doing Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for roles across the company. Work closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and secure top talent, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates. Develop a structured workforce planning approach to support company growth. Learning & Development (L&D) Lead the training and development strategy, focusing on leadership, compliance, and upskilling employees. Implement structured onboarding programs and role-specific training. Work with managers to identify training needs and ensure continuous employee development. Employee Relations & Engagement Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and guidance on people-related matters. Support managers in handling performance, disciplinary, and grievance issues while ensuring compliance with UK employment laws. Drive employee engagement initiatives, including culture-building and staff recognition programs. HR Administration, Compliance & Policy Maintain and improve HR policies, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practices. Oversee HR systems (BreatheHR), payroll administration, and reporting. Ensure smooth HR operations in line with ISO 9001 and pharma-GMP standards. Support annual salary reviews and performance management cycles. Process Improvement & Strategy Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and introduce best practices. Champion HR automation and technology to improve efficiency. Build and develop the HR function in line with business growth. What We’re Looking For HR Generalist Experience – Proven track record in a standalone HR role or a similar industry (manufacturing, food & beverage, science, pharma, or technical sectors ideal). Strong Recruitment & L&D Experience – Comfortable managing the full hiring process and leading employee development initiatives. Solid UK Employment Law Knowledge – Able to confidently advise on policies, compliance, and best practices. Commercially Minded & People-Focused – Balancing business needs with employee well-being. Confident Communicator & Influencer – Comfortable engaging with all levels of the business. Process-Driven & Proactive – Always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
