As part of our long-term growth strategy, and to continue delivering expert services to our clients, we are looking to appoint a Senior Wastewater Network Modeller to join us in Newcastle.
You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 175 personnel from Stantec, across 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative team of modellers, with a joint vision for finding sustainable solutions which will help us to achieve our ambitious net-zero targets.
As a key part of a supportive & collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to take part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld. You will also play a role in the mentorship & management of more junior staff in the team, helping to develop the next generation of specialist modellers.
ABOUT YOU
We are interested in speaking with experienced Wastewater Modellers, educated to degree level (or equivalent) and who hold membership to a relevant industry institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You will ideally have previous experience of leading projects in an urban drainage environment and possess strong technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities.
Proficiency in the use of Infoworks ICM and a strong analytical skill set are also important for this position.
