The HICA Group has a new opening for a Kitchen (Food Services) Assistant to work at our home in Harrogate, Hampden House!
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
* £11.50 per hour
* 32 hours per week
* Shift Pattern – Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend).
The Role:
* You will prepare and serve food and drinks to our Service Users.
* Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is up to the highest standard.
* Be aware of specific needs and preferences from our Service Users.
* Keep cleaning products safely stored and order cleaning products for the kitchen.
* Use a person-centred approach towards our Service Users during meal times.
About You:
* Working towards or holds a relevant NVQ Basic Food Hygiene qualification.
* Previous experience of working in a kitchen environment.
* Excellent knowledge of individual dietary needs.
* A good understanding of those with challenging behaviours.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
