Job Title: Group Insurable Risk Administrator (26 hours a week Monday – Friday.)

Salary: £21,000 for 26 hours (£30k full time equivalent)
What you’ll be doing:
* Undertake a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department, including organising meetings, team days, conferences, training, underwriter visits, and travel bookings.
* Support diary management and planning for the department’s activities and events.
* Prepare monthly expenses for the Director, Group Insurable Risk, and the six-person management team (as required).
* Book and prepare agendas, rotas, minutes, and logistics for department and management meetings.
* Track customer visits, actions, training, and goals for the department.
* Assist in organising presentations, preparing reports, and support the effective use of SharePoint.
* Assist with transactional financial tasks such as purchase orders, invoices, and recharges.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate data using pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and solid experience with PowerPoint and Word.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and promptly with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
* Proven administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum grade C or 4/5).
Desirable
* Knowledge of basic financial tasks (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, expenses).

The Group Insurable Risk Team:
The role sits within the Business Support function for the Group Insurable Risk team at Head Office, working alongside a dynamic team. The team is focused on providing vital administrative and organisational support to ensure the department runs smoothly. While this role is not a PA position, it offers essential support across a variety of functions, including diary management for the team and department, coordinating team meetings, creating documents, taking minutes, and managing action lists. Additionally, the role involves organising corporate days, managing venues, compiling team statistics, and ensuring post-visit actions are completed. This is a collaborative position, requiring someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment. The role is part-time, requiring 26 hours a week, ideally worked Monday to Friday, though four days a week will be considered. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory on-site days in the office. A good level of proficiency in Excel is required, alongside experience with Word and PowerPoint. SharePoint knowledge is advantageous. The role involves supporting various administrative functions, including travel bookings, meeting arrangements, and financial transactions, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
