OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Process Engineer (TA) for a client located in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a contract position for 6 months. Key Purpose As a Process Engineer (TA) you will be accountable for all Process Engineering activity in the Transcend Capital Project Programme as part of the Client Project Management Team. Ensures the process, equipment and systems are suitably specified to meet all project requirements. Acts as the focal point for the project for resolution of all Process Engineering queries and clarifications. Supports all design, construction and commissioning activities required for the successful completion of the Transcend Project. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the Process Engineering Aspects of the Transcend project scope. Ensuring that Engineering Technical Standards, safety management standards, maintainability, operability, and integrity are achieved through the delivery of the project scope. Company responsible engineer for all process engineering queries for new and brownfield plants; and integration of same with existing facilities. Ensure new technologies are leveraged where appropriate to improve project outcomes. Partner with other business functions to support and implement standards effectively and whilst managing risk. Ensure engineering work is controlled in accordance with engineering arrangements and that all Legal, Regulatory, Contractual, COMAH and Governance obligations are met. Working across multiple contractor and supplier delivery scopes, ensuring relevant project milestones and industry practice are met and implemented. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline or related field. Significant experience of working in a highly regulated chemical manufacturing facility or equivalent. Capital project delivery experience as part of PMT is desired. Extensive experience in development of P&IDs and other process deliverables, preferably gained through working with a Tier 1 Contractor. Technical Authority role in either relevant manufacturing company or engineering contractor.
