As a Criminal Intelligence Officer, you will review incoming and outgoing vehicle-related intelligence in collaboration with other government departments, analysing and interpreting data and crime statistics (including organised crime) to spot trends and identify patterns and problems. You will produce written reports for senior officers using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Initial investigation will be based on intelligence you receive, which you will triage and determine whether further investigation is necessary. You will be responsible for quality assurance of investigation work, identifying errors and issues of non-compliance.
This is a challenging, varied role in which you will network and engage with a variety of stakeholders within the police and other government departments. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
* Providing intelligence on behalf of the Agency to the Police in the 3x5x2 format which is part of the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
* Establishing and maintaining communications with staff through formal and informal briefings on the latest trends providing feedback to managers.
* Promoting externally the Agency’s interest through regular meetings with stakeholders including police, and other enforcement Agencies.
* Managing and organising intelligence packages that are presented to enforcement agencies, ensuring all aspects of legislation and associated time scales are observed.
* Adhering to Health & Safety Policies, Data Protection, Security Policies and Equality Act and understand relevant employment law.

This role will require you to work on-site at our Swansea office.
