Role Purpose:
* Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of electricians on construction sites.
* Ensuring that electrical installations and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
What you'll be doing
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
* Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
* Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
* Quality Control: Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, providing technical expertise to the team.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other trades and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
Who we're looking for
Do you have?
* ECS Card and CCNSG.
* Approved electrician – 2 years post apprenticeship / equivalent qualification experience or hold Approved grade card.
* Hold time served status with an official apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
* Ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
