The school provides high-quality education for autistic students aged 4 to 19 in a welcoming and supportive environment. With small class sizes (around seven students) and a total of 80 students on roll, the school ensures each child receives the individual attention and tailored support they need. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with both students and teachers, assisting in various classroom activities, supporting the learning and emotional development of students, and helping to create a positive and structured learning environment. Encouraging engagement, participation, and confidence in students. Helping with emotional regulation and communication using strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and sensory integration. Supporting the teacher in the delivery of lessons and providing individualized support where necessary. Contributing to a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Working with students to foster independence in everyday tasks. What We're Looking For: A caring, patient individual who is passionate about supporting young people.
