About the role:
Are you passionate about sparking curiosity and fostering a love for learning in young minds? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. This role is ideal for a dynamic educator who values collaboration and is eager to make a lasting impact on students’ foundational learning experiences. You’ll work with a class of curious, energetic KS1 students, guiding them through their early academic journeys. With the support of a full-time teaching assistant, you’ll be able to tailor your approach, ensuring each child receives the attention and encouragement they need. Your day will be filled with creative and hands-on activities that inspire a love of learning in English, Maths, Science, and beyond.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in KS1 or similar primary teaching roles.
• Proven ability to develop engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
• A positive, child-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and parents.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and support each student’s academic progress.
• Create an inspiring, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the school’s SEN team to support diverse learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with parents, celebrating each student’s progress.
