Our client is a scale-up in the Fintech Payments industry, founded in the late 90s. They extract information from payments data to be used for fraud prevention purposes.
They are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to manage a team of 20 engineers responsible for their two highest revenue-generating products. You will report directly to the CTO, who envisions progressing this candidate into a newly created Head of Engineering position over the coming years.
Salary: £80k-£90k + Bonus. Work arrangement: 2 days a week in the office in Woking.
Interview Process: 2 stages - 1st) Phone Call (30-45 minutes) & 2nd) Face-to-Face in the office (1 hour 30-2 hours).
You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications across various platforms. They seek someone who is data-driven in their approach to leading teams, defining metrics and measures for the development teams, and using this to produce regular reports for the C-Suite. A TDD background is preferred, as they want someone who can embed this into their engineering culture.
Key Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience in the software development field
* Strong .NET development skills
* 3+ years' experience in team management
* Experience with end-to-end project management and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have:
* Fintech/Financial services experience
* Azure (or other cloud provider) experience
