We are looking to recruit a Generalist HR Advisor for a successful manufacturing company based in Stourport working on a full or part time basis.
As a key member of the HR Department, you will provide assistance with day-to-day activities surrounding absence, time keeping, recruitment, and welcoming new employees to the business.
Main duties and responsibilities will be:
1. Overseeing Recruitment including writing job descriptions, placing advertisements, and arranging interviews.
2. Producing job offers and issuing contracts.
3. Updating company website and job boards with vacancies.
4. Holding new starter induction.
5. Employee Relations including absence monitoring, Return to Work, and exit interviews.
6. Conducting Right to Work checks.
7. Ensuring essential first day training is completed and completion certificates are passed to H&S for training record keeping.
8. Maintenance of paperwork and employee files.
9. Updating and supporting managers with training matrices.
10. Liaising with H&S where needed.
11. Responsibilities as listed in the integrated QUENSH system.
12. Understanding of the Bradford Factor.
13. Notetaking during D&G, Welfare Meetings, and any other such meeting, as needed.
14. Occasional travel to different sites.
The right candidate must:
1. Have previous HR administration experience.
2. Be an excellent communicator.
3. Have experience in employment law and be a generalist HR professional.
4. Be a team player.
5. Have manufacturing or engineering experience preferred.
6. Be highly organized with an eye for detail.
7. Exhibit good energy and enthusiasm.
8. Have the ability to troubleshoot.
9. Demonstrate good time management.
10. Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
11. Be willing to perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
If part-time hours will be 24 per week - Monday to Thursday 9am to 2pm, Friday 9am to 1pm.
If full-time, 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 1.30pm finish on a Friday.
Salary: £32,000 per annum.
