Your New Role As Management Accountant:
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you shall have responsibility for the day-to-day accounting responsibilities and production of management accounts. Taking the lead on the production of monthly duties, you shall provide insightful commentary and analysis to highlight potential issues and improvements.
A hands-on position, you shall manage the day-to-day transactional duties together with ensuring the production of Management Accounts. Partnering with stakeholders overseas, you shall enable the relationship to ensure a clear understanding of the numbers, delivering analysis and financial insights to enable further growth and business decisions.
A role to facilitate the USA, you shall have a flexible work schedule to ensure alignment to USA time zone needs.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Preparation of month end accounts, P&L, Balance sheet and Cash Flow.
2. Developing and reporting on business KPI's.
3. Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
4. Ensure all purchase invoices are posted into AP system and required supplier payments made.
5. Reconciliation of Credit Card Statement.
6. Preparation of the Accruals and Prepayments.
7. Preparation of the Payroll ensuring accurate completion through payroll agency.
8. Population and value add to the monthly Management Information Packs.
9. Balance Sheet reconciliation.
10. Completion of annual Audit supporting all requirements during audit process.
11. Responsible for various financial projects.
12. Continuously develop current processes and systems both as a team and individually.
13. Any other Ad hoc duties as required.
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
To be considered for this role you shall be formally qualified or towards the end of your qualification. With past experience operating at management accountancy level in a multi-currency environment, you shall have strong technical skills and be prepared to roll up your sleeves in a hands-on role. With strong attention to detail, you shall also have the ability to work a flexible schedule and remain flexible to prioritise workload. With experience of monthly management reporting, you shall have knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations and P&L management. You will have experience of building strong relationships with a proven track record in a similar role. Experience with Sage 100/200/300 will be an advantage; however, training will be given where required.
