We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Administrative Assistant to join us on a part-time 3-month fixed contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your experience in office administration, become the face of our business centre, and potentially secure a permanent position based on exceptional performance. The ideal candidate will be an excellent and clear communicator with previous administrative experience in a similar role, a can-do attitude, and strong attention to detail. Taking ownership of tasks and maintaining a professional demeanour are essential qualities we value.
Responsibilities:
* Front office duties and management of office administration tasks
* Handling incoming calls and enquiries, directing them to the appropriate person
* Assisting with property management tasks, including liaising with tenants, handling maintenance requests, and coordinating lease agreements
* General administrative duties, including liaising with HMRC and the local council
* Preparing presentations and documents
* Organising and coordinating company events or meetings
* Managing social media accounts, including content creation and scheduling posts
* Performing data entry and maintaining databases or spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail
Skills:
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications; additional training or certification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus
* Proven experience in an administrative role
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
* Reliable and responsible, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and completing tasks accurately
* Professional and friendly demeanour with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels
* Strong attention to detail

Package:
* £27,000 per year (pro-rata, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience)
* Part-time 3-month fixed contract position (16 hours per week, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 5.30pm)
