Estates Manager (West) Your hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum Your pay: £45,144 per annum Where you’ll work: This role is based at North Kent College’s Hadlow and Tonbridge campus, but the nature of the work may require travel to any of the College sites. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estates Manager to join our college as part of our wider Estates Team. The Estates Manager (West) will be dual sited looking after both our Hadlow and Tonbridge campuses. Reporting into the Director of Estates & Risk Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for all matters relating to the College buildings and grounds, advising and making recommendations as appropriate. They will liaise and assist other College Managers with new building projects as necessary and monitor energy consumption, making recommendations for improvement in addition to attending site out of college hours in emergencies or incidence of burglary etc. The successful candidate will be a natural communicator, with a wide knowledge of building construction, regulations and procedures. They will also possess a relevant professional or trade qualification. Experience in people management, working to tight deadlines and building project management are essential to this role. A positive and proactive working attitude, with the ability to work on own initiative and direct a team accordingly is essential.
