The role
In this role you will lead the North Hertfordshire Museum’s Esmée Fairbairn grant-funded project, researching and reviewing colonial and other world collections with members of communities from the countries where the collections originated. You will be required to engage in dialogue with the local community and work together to help the museum service better understand, record and interact with its world collections in the future.
The experience you will bring
You will have experience of leading community-based projects.
You will have experience of research in a museum or heritage setting.
You will have experience of disseminating knowledge through public speaking and written text.
You will be aware of the concept of decolonisation in the museum and heritage sector.
