Role: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Cannock (mainly remote)
Salary: £32-36k
This Assistant Management Accountant will support the Management Accountant with a mix of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly analysis reports. You will manage department purchase order workbooks in Oracle and Excel for control and financial reporting.
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for key areas in the Monthly Management Accounts, including the Balance Sheet, Stock Control, Fixed Fleet costs, and Capital Expenditure.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to get involved in all areas of the business.
Main duties:
1. Production of Daily and Weekly analysis reports.
2. Supporting the preparation of accurate weekly and monthly Management Accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
3. Assistance in reviewing and controlling costs for different areas, working with Accruals, Journals, general ledger, and KPI Reporting.
The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified ACCA or CIMA, have experience in a similar role, be enthusiastic with a flexible approach, and be able to work on their own initiative. Excellent communication, presentation, and Excel skills are needed.
