CUH Pharmacy are excited to advertise this senior role within the Clinical Pharmacy team, leading on Pharmacy support to Division E (Women's and Children's services) in collaboration with Consultant Pharmacists (Paediatrics and Neonates).
You will benefit from joining a well established and experienced team with a number of advanced pharmacists as well as rotational pharmacist posts. We are also looking forward to having a dedicated Senior Pharmacy Technician join the team in early 2025.
Our ideal candidate would have an extensive background within Woman's and Children's services, excellent leadership skills, and a collaborative and positive approach to service improvement. You will maintain a clinical commitment as part of the wider Pharmacy team whilst working alongside Pharmacy and MDT leaders to optimise the care of patients within the specialties.

• Plan and lead the pharmacy service input to Women’s and Children's together with the Consultant pharmacist (neonates and paediatrics) and the Associate Chief Pharmacist - Clinical Pharmacy Services.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to promote safe, effective use of medicines in Women’s & Children's services, acting as an expert resource in this practice area.
• Provide an advanced clinical service to allocated wards/patient groups as part of the team.
• Lead and manage the pharmacy clinical team working in Women’s and Children's services together with the Consultant pharmacist (neonates and paediatrics) and ensure service delivery to agreed standards in line with business planning requirements.
• Ensure the development and delivery of training in Women’s & Children's for pharmacy staff and other staff groups.
• Manage and further develop independent pharmacist prescribing in Women’s & Children service
