EYFS Teaching Assistant (Reception) Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Morecambe Hours: 8:45am until 3.15pm (1 hours for lunch). 27.5 hours per week Salary: £13.75 per hour Are you passionate about early years education and shaping young learners' futures? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join lively and hard-working Reception team in Morecambe. This position is to start in January 2025 on a long term, ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons. Assist in implementing daily phonics sessions, utilizing your knowledge and experience to enhance children's reading skills. Provide individual and group support to children, ensuring every child reaches their potential. Contribute to planning and delivering creative activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Carry out general TA duties, including preparing resources, tidying up, and supervising outdoor play. Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys. Requirements: Proven experience working within EYFS, particularly in a Reception class. Strong understanding and experience of teaching phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds). A caring, patient, and positive attitude with a passion for supporting young learners. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
