• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Degree in relevant and appropriate discipline.
• Experience of 11 – 16 Science teaching.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• An excellent classroom practitioner with a proven record of motivating students to achieve success.
• Ability to articulate a sound educational philosophy in line with the academy’s aims.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum Science
• Enthusiasm for learning.
• Computer literate / IT skills.
• Ability to plan and engage students in highly effective learning.
• Ability to evaluate your own practice.
• Enthusiastic about teaching and working with young people.
• Record of delivering consistently good to outstanding lessons.
