About the Role:As anEarly Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing asafe, engaging, and stimulating environmentfor young children. You will support theirlearning and developmentin line with theEarly Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring their welfare and safeguarding at all times.
Key Responsibilities:Support thelearning, development, and welfareof a designated group of children.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities following theEYFS framework .
Act as akey person, building positive relationships with children and parents.
Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by followinghealth & safety, hygiene, and safeguarding protocols .
Maintainaccurate recordsof childrens progress, observations, and assessments.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and care standards.
Participate in regulartraining and professional development .
Adhere tonursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding responsibilitiesat all times.
What Were Looking For:Level 3 Early Years qualification(essential).
Experience working with children in anearly years setting .
Apassionfor supporting childrens development and learning.
Strongcommunication and teamwork skills .
Knowledge ofEYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety policies .
Paediatric First Aid Certificate(or willingness to obtain).
Ability to pass anEnhanced DBS checkand maintain ongoing suitability.
