EA to Managing Director
£60-70K
Location: City of London
A hugely exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-respected and rapidly growing insurance firm to support the Managing Director as an EA capacity. This role is newly created as the firm has exciting plans over the next couple of years and they now need a dedicated EA to allow them to grow the business. This role is leaning towards a business assistant position; the client is looking for someone that can be heavily involved in meetings and has a real understanding of what the business does. As such, previous insurance experience is essential.
The managing director has been with the firm for 25 years and he is focused on looking after his staff – he says staff come first and clients second. As a result, the company culture is sociable, friendly and non-hierarchical.
Responsibilities:
* Complex diary management across multiple, contrasting time zones
* Gatekeeping – Protecting the managing director's time in an open-plan office
* International travel - Minimum twice a month to places like Australia and America (this is expected to rapidly increase in the near future)
* Taking minutes and proactively managing action points, deliverables
* Ensuring the relevant information and data is available for key meetings
* Creating slick presentations for clients
* Booking dinners, lunches, and cars for evening client entertainment
* Project managing an office move at the end of 2025
* Assisting with managing a business re-brand
