Salary: £23,868 per annum, plus company benefits

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, rotational shifts 8am-4pm and 9am-5pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break

Purpose of role
The Reception team provides administrative front line service to all visitors and provides support to all staff, the role requires a certain amount of flexibility.
The primary focus of the Receptionist will be to deal with requests which come into the Office Services team.
Key responsibilities
1. All Reception and Administrative duties
2. Collection and opening of post within SLA
3. Special and Recorded Post processing
4. Welcome visitors with a high standard of customer service, signing in guests and issuing access cards with prior authorisation
5. Delivering a high quality standard of corporate service including arranging client meetings and events
6. Ensuring a smooth running of daily requests, showing flexibility and willingness to support colleagues and take on additional duties if required
7. Liaising with the Office Services team for training materials and printing needs for seminars to ensure a prompt start for training events
8. Dealing with administration tasks
9. Dealing with telephone and email enquiries in a timely manner
10. Ensuring that the post deadlines are kept to.
11. Reprographics, scanning and printing
12. General maintenance of general office equipment
13. Assisting with moving and transportation of boxes around the office
Personal attributes
14. Previous reception/customer service experience essential
15. Well presented, with excellent communication skills (written and vernal)
16. Strong customer focus
17. Ability to operate at all levels within the organisation
18. Confident and with a professional, business-like manner
19. Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and delivering against timescales
20. Team player, consistently in tune with the aims and objectives of the business
21. Excellent time management and organisational skills
22. Ability to carry out delegated functions/tasks/projects
23. High level of confidentiality in management of staff
24. Able to meet deadlines and priorities tasks
25. An understanding of an employer’s statutory and 'best practice’ Health & Safety requirement
26. Strong administration skills and fully conversant with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
