What we do
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be on the frontlines of our Go-to-Market (GTM) organization. You will be a critical part of our SDR team, responsible for responding to a range of inbound requests from event registrations to trials and webinar sign-ups. As a natively French (preferred), Spanish, or Italian speaker, you will understand the needs of our users in the Southern European region, and hand off the relationship to sales when appropriate. You will partner with Sales to develop engagement and account plans for acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones, identify new opportunities, listen to prospect needs, and discuss the impact of our technology with potential prospects.
Your goal will be to generate quality sales opportunities and pipeline for the Southern European Territory. The skills you develop will support your long-term career goals of pursuing a path in Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success or Leadership.
Our team is 100% remote, but this role is based in the United Kingdom, close to local teammates. This role reports to the Director of Sales Development and the Marketing department, but a high degree of collaboration with Sales and cross-functional teams is required for success.
What you'll do
* Manage the initial sales process (using email, phone and social media) - respond to inbound leads, understand the client needs, identify key client decision-makers, cross-selling opportunities and when is the right time to involve a Regional Sales Manager
* Create and evolve customized email and prospecting strategies for outreach to key prospects at target accounts
* Seek and apply feedback from GTM team members and leaders to continue mastering key skills
* Build rapport and long-term relationships with prospects and cross-functional partners
* Maintain and build a deep understanding of competitors, customer tech stacks, and industry trends
* Be comfortable making decisions and working as an autonomous member of a collaborative remote team
* Maintain speedy follow-up on inbound inquiries, responding to user requests within 2 business hours
* Solve problems for potential Kentik prospects by leveraging discovery, collaboration, and research skills across sales, marketing, and sales engineering teams to develop and execute account strategies
