As a Care & Support Worker at PFL you will: Promote our guest's appearance and personal hygiene by offering support and advice. Assist guests to move safely in their everyday life Enable patients to maintain and improve their independence by promoting involvement in social events and activities. Support guests in maintaining their family and social network, where appropriate. As a Strode Park Foundation colleague, you'll get comprehensive support from day one and receive training and development opportunities to develop your skills. PFL offers short breaks, respite, rehabilitation, and long-stay facility for adults. The service also provides people with dementia related care and support. Our ideal Care and Support Worker will: Be willing to work on all units across the service, including working with guests who have dementia, are in day service and are currently undergoing rehabilitation. Have the ability to work as part of a team and with others in a collaborative and engaging way. Be committed to deliver a high level of care and support for our service users. Have the ability to work across a range of shifts, including earlies, lates and long days. Be able to clearly and appropriately communicate both orally and in writing with people inside and outside the Foundation. Hold Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent or be willing to attain this qualification.
