Summary
Location: We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), Manchester or Edinburgh and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.

We're searching for a Junior Data Scientist to join our Climate and Health Project team, helping us to build on our large-scale social & health data assets and expertise in data linkage, geospatial data & statistical modelling to better understand the current and future impacts of climate change on health, developing indicators at different geographical scales and exploring inequalities in impact across the population.
In the role you will code, manipulate, engineer, model and analyse data and/or data processes to underpin Climate and Health outputs, while remaining inquisitive, curious and keen to learn and develop!
We want you to be able to write scripts and basic models using one of more software languages, and have a solid understanding of data science, statistics and analysis. In addition, you have an understanding of different project/product delivery methods (i.e. Agile, waterfall) and can articulate how they might compliment different tasks in different ways.
