Job Title: Purchasing Administrator Location: Sheffield, UK Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Purchasing Administrator to support their procurement team and assist in the day-to-day operations of the purchasing function. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the administration of purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders and managing supplier records. Support the team in sourcing reliable suppliers and ensuring supplier details are up-to-date. Help coordinate and track orders, deliveries, and stock levels. Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve any order discrepancies. Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and documentation related to contracts and suppliers. Key Skills and Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or purchasing role is beneficial. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams. Basic understanding of procurement principles (desirable but not essential).
