If you answered yes to the above, this Head of SEN role is for you The role – Head of SEN I am working with a SEMH school based in Bromley that are looking for a new Head of SEN to join their team In this role you must make sure the SEN policy is put into practice and its objectives are reflected in the school Development plan. As the Head of SEN, you must maintain up-to-date knowledge of national and local initiatives that may affect the school’s policy and practice. You must evaluate whether funding is being used effectively and suggest changes to make use of funding more effective. You will be required to maintain and implement targets on EHCP for all SEN pupils, co-ordinate provision that meets the pupil’s needs, and monitor its effectiveness and promote the pupil’s inclusion in the school community and access to the curriculum, facilities and extra-curricular activities. The school – Primary SEMH school This Primary SEMH school is based in Bromley and caters for students aged 5 – 11 years old.
