About Our Client
Our client is a leader in their industry and are looking to recruit a Credit Controller Team Leader to start as soon as possible.
This is a permanent opportunity in Derby with hybrid working available and paying up to £35,000.
Job Description
Credit Control Team Leader Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Credit Controllers, providing guidance and support where necessary
* Monitor and manage the collection of outstanding debts
* Ensure timely payments and minimise overdue accounts
* Develop and implement credit control policies
* Conduct regular credit risk assessments
* Liaise with internal stakeholders
* Handle complex or escalated debt issues
* Ensure compliance with policies
* Train the team of Credit Controllers
* Ensuring month end deadlines are met
* Identify and implement process improvements
The Successful Applicant
The successful Credit Control Team Leader:
* Able to commute to our client's office in Derby
* Experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of credit control procedures
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong leadership skills
* Able to work to deadlines
* Background in Finance
