Job Title: Finance Administrator
Salary: £24,000 & profit share
Location: Ramsgate (1 Day a week at home after probationary period)
We are delighted to be assisting a local award-winning organisation in their search for a Finance Administrator. As a Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for providing crucial support to the purchasing and finance department. You will be responsible for all stages of customer procurement; in addition, you will support the Finance Officer with day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing purchase orders and maintaining inventory levels, developing sourcing strategies to save costs.
2. Providing quotes for clients and processing them accurately.
3. Receiving customer orders, processing them, and following the order through the entire cycle.
4. Processing invoices and reconciling accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
5. Supporting with contract renewals.
6. Assisting with budgeting, supporting the Finance Officer in preparing budgets and forecasts by gathering necessary data and information.
7. Attending team meetings.
8. Other administrative duties assigned by the line manager.
Skills Required:
1. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Experience working with confidential information.
Desirable:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Previous experience working in a finance or accounting department.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Quickbooks).
