Requirements:
* Previous experience working with stone, ideally memorials
* A keen eye for detail and an affinity for design aesthetics
* Understanding or genuine interest in letter and relief carving
* A natural talent for working with your hands
* Able to lift and carry heavy objects
* A love of stone and respect for the ancient traditions of the profession
Responsibilities:
* Production and finishing of memorial stones
* Sandblasting and relief carving
* Gilding and painting inscriptions
* Bevelling stones and some masonry skills
* Memorial installations
This vacancy is for our workshop in Canterbury; therefore, you must be within a reasonable distance of the city or willing to relocate.
