Enva's Industrial Services, Water and Organics division provides a range of expert services to industry and municipalities across Ireland. We solve complex decommissioning, surveying and inspections, industrial cleaning and decontamination problems for our customers in industries such as Construction, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and Services using the latest technologies, equipment and fleet, highly trained personnel and expert project management.
Our services are designed to minimise downtime and business disruption whilst protecting against health, safety and environmental issues. Tailored to the individual needs of our large customer base and the specifics of the site, we provide clear operating plans and carefully risk assess every project.
Key Responsibilities
Due to continued growth, expanded and new contracts, Enva has an extremely exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate Environmental Engineer to join our Industrial Services team, working from our Cork office.
* Assist Contracts Manager in all duties required to safely, compliantly and profitably manage the daily operations.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders, monitor project budgets and programmes.
* Operations supervision and management, management of sub-contractors.
* Environmental monitoring (e.g. sampling, analysis, and reporting).
* Assist in day-to-day management of key client contacts, completing project reports and keeping clients up to date as operations progress.
Business Development
* Support in developing the sales pipeline, meeting and developing opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.
R&D
* Research and support new initiatives, processes and technologies to maintain Enva Environmental services position as an innovator and a forward thinker in this space.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Environmental Science, engineering (civil, mechanical) or Agricultural degree.
* Experience in the engineering, environmental science, waste industry an advantage.
* Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* To act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role.
* To foster and develop good customer and public relations at all times and to portray a professional image of the company.
* To report for work in a timely manner and to conduct work as scheduled to company and customer satisfaction.
* To work within the instructions and procedures of the Company's systems as directed by your Manager or other management as appropriate.
* To conduct all duties in a constructive and productive manner aligned to the interests of the company and management.
* To act diligently and professionally in the interests of the Company.
* To demonstrate a willingness to promote the positive development of the business to all stakeholders of the business including customers but also extending to staff, contractors, EPA, HSA etc.
