About the role: As part of our newly launched Birmingham expansion we are looking to grow out our team to help support increasing demand. The Birmingham Sales & Operations Manager will play a vital role in driving this growth by ensuring efficient, customer-focused delivery across the region. This dynamic role requires someone resourceful, adaptable, and eager to take initiative, with the ability to work collaboratively with central teams in London using technology and digital tools. As our Birmingham model develops, the ability to adapt to change and contribute to its success will be key. By helping maintain operational excellence, the role will help ensure an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Market Leadership : Take ownership of market performance by driving key initiatives and guiding best practices Team Coaching & Influence: Support and mentor junior team members, ensuring alignment on priorities, sharing best practices, and driving performance - responsibilities that could one day lead to a people management role Sales Execution & Lead Conversion : Ensure leads are effectively pushed through the sales funnel, with a focus on personable 1:1 in-person engagement where necessary to maximise conversion and hit your sales targets Operational & Compliance Oversight: Maintain strong knowledge of licensing authority relationships and local regulatory requirements, ensuring smooth operations and compliance Customer Experience & Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address top customer experience challenges, surfacing root causes and collaborating with relevant central teams and the Launch Manager to drive improvements Process & Documentation Support : Oversee efficient management of documentation submissions, deposit collection, and sales processes, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance Energy & Growth Mindset: Bring enthusiasm and a proactive approach to a rapidly growing business, enabling collaboration and driving continuous improvement Skills and Qualifications : Essential 4-5 years of experience in customer service, operations, account management, or sales roles - or a combination of roles within these disciplines Interest in working at a technology-enabled company that combines real-world assets with digital tools Familiarity and confidence with SaaS/digital products and CRM systems The ability to show leadership when all the answers are not clear or readily available Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving processes and contribute to improvements Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines Proficiency in clear and professional communication, both written and verbal A self-starter who is proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A valid & clean full UK Driver’s License Desired Exposure to the motor industry, transportation, or private hire sectors a plus, but not required Our values: We make our mothers proud: We follow our moral compass, recognising what’s right, and aren’t afraid to call out what’s wrong.
