This busy office-based role will offer you the opportunity to manage our school reception and take on a range of key administration responsibilities as well as providing day-to-day support to pupils, parents and colleagues.
We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our boys and our office administration team is integral to our success. You will provide an exemplary reception service, greeting visitors, answering the phone and liaising with parents. You will have primary responsibility for attendance administration, ensuring that registers are completed in a timely manner and absences are followed up appropriately and you will provide administration and event management support to the Admissions Registrar. Additionally, you will provide general office support to members of the Senior Leadership Team, update pupil data on the schools’ MIS and act as the primary first aider when the first aid team are not available.
This role is ideal for an experienced receptionist or administrator with excellent interpersonal, communication, ICT and organisational skills. Experience in an educational environment is an advantage but not essential. You will need to be comfortable providing first aid care to pupils – training will be given.
The role is available on a full-time, term-time-only basis, 40 hours per week working 175 days per annum. The standard hours are 7.30am – 3.30pm and you will work during the school term, including two Saturday mornings per year for Prize Day and Open Morning and Inset days at the beginning of each term.
