About the Role We partner with a variety of schools that support students with a range of additional needs, including: Autism (ASD) ADHD Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges Global Developmental Delay Speech and Language issues Severe Learning Disabilities As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll be providing essential support to students and teachers. Your role will involve helping pupils stay engaged in their lessons, managing behavior, and giving one-on-one or group support when needed. You’ll be helping to create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive. What We’re Looking For We’re keen to hear from you if you have: Experience working with SEND students : Whether it’s in a school, care setting, or elsewhere, your experience supporting young people with additional needs will be really valuable. Patience and understanding : You’ll need to be empathetic, as working with SEND students can be both challenging and rewarding. Flexibility : You’ll be adaptable and open to working in different schools across Hampshire, covering staff absences. Location : Ideally, you’ll live in or be able to travel to areas like Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, or Portsmouth. What’s In It for You?
