Due to increased demand within our Rolls Royce apprenticeship division, we have a new opportunity for a new Teacher of Welding & Fabrication to join our apprenticeships team based at our client Rolls Royce in their Learning and Development Centre.

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant team providing an outstanding learning experience, through the delivery of engaging teaching, learning and assessment, which prepares our apprentices for the next stage in their career. You’ll be working with Rolls Royce apprentices ranging from 16 to 18 years old and adult apprentices on a variety of courses and supporting graduates with practical projects. You will be predominantly working in our apprentice workshop, where you will be teaching and assessing practical skills, and there may also be some classroom delivery.

About you
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for imparting your knowledge and experience to the upcoming generation of engineers. The ideal candidate will possess industry experience in Welding/Fabrication, along with a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in the subject, a HNC/ degree in a relevant discipline is desirable but not essential. If you are not a qualified teacher, no problem! If you have industry knowledge, we will help you achieve Qualified Teacher Status.

Salary of £27,690 Non-qualified teacher; qualified teacher £31,035 to £41,683 per annum pro rata
