This is a home-based role covering the North of the UK, with additional travel across the UK as required. As a key Member of our Team, you will specialise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our cutting-edge digital X-ray systems, which require expertise in computer software, hardware, and networking, in addition to general X-ray equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our Customers receive the highest level of service and support. You will be expected to maintain a high standard of customer service, building strong, lasting relationships with Clients and ensuring their needs are met. Your Role as a Digital Radiography Field Service Engineer will include: Diagnose, repair, and maintain digital X-ray systems, with a focus on software, hardware, and networking. Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and configuration of specialised X-ray acquisition software. Perform installations, commissioning and annual service visits for new and existing X-ray equipment at Customer sites. Troubleshoot Customer issues both onsite and remotely, via phone support or remote desktop access. Coordinate with OEMs and third-party suppliers to source spare parts, technical manuals, and support. Complete service reports and administrative tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner. Manage your workload effectively, scheduling and planning jobs to ensure Customer satisfaction. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adhere to company guidelines and procedures The Successful Digital Radiography Field Service Engineer will have: Proficiency in computer hardware fault-finding down to component level (e.g., replacing hard drives, DIMMs). Experience troubleshooting within a Windows environment. Basic understanding of networking principles, including routing, switching, and TCP/IP. Strong communication skills across all mediums. Excellent time management, organisational abilities, and attention to detail. Experience with electronic, electrical, and mechanical repair, including the use of testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes). Ability to perform precise repairs with a high degree of manual dexterity. Ability to manage tasks independently Valid full UK driving licence ADZN1_UKTJ
