We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our committed team at Five Lanes Primary School. Key Responsibilities:
Support the Breakfast Club Leader in providing a calm, safe, and welcoming start to the day for all children.
Supervise and engage children in a variety of quiet, purposeful, and age-appropriate morning activities.
Prepare and serve a healthy breakfast in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards.
Encourage good table manners and positive social interaction during breakfast time.
Promote children’s well-being, personal development, and readiness for the school day.
Build warm, respectful relationships with children, helping them feel secure and valued.
Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns to the Club Leader or Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Help set up the space before children arrive and support in tidying and cleaning up after the session.
Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Work collaboratively with the Breakfast Club Leader and school staff to support smooth transitions into the school day.
