An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Undergraduate Medical Education team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as an Undergraduate Administrator within the Undergraduate Medical Education Department at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. This position will be based at Lincoln County Hospital and the successful candidate will support the delivery of Undergraduate Medical Education on all hospital sites.
There are four Undergraduate Administrators who assist the Undergraduate Operational Assistant Manager in the efficient running of the department which coordinates the provision of teaching modules for medical students from the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln.
This post is for 25 hours per week with some flexibility in the hours being worked over 4 or 5 days between 8:30am - 4:00pm.
Main duties of the job
The primary function of this post is to support undergraduate medical education by managing undergraduate modules delivered within the Trust. You will be required to plan and produce timetables and placement plans liaising with medical staff and other allied health professionals.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure whilst prioritising their workload daily. Responsibilities include setting up teaching rooms for lectures, training sessions, exams, etc., which requires the ability to move and handle furniture. Familiarity with setting up display IT equipment would be useful as this is often used for teaching. Certain teaching sessions will require the candidate to become familiar with the use of clinical skills equipment. They will also be responsible for liaising with volunteer patients who support teaching and for assisting with the running of exam skills workshops.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to support the service. The successful candidate must be a team player and be willing to undertake other general administrative duties within the education center as required.

Qualifications
* GCSE, level C or above, in English or equivalent
* RSA III or equivalent word-processing experience
* NVQ Level 3 Administration or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of undergraduate medical education issues
* Awareness of national agenda in relation to medical education and training

* Good level of Computer Literacy (MS Office)

£24,071 to £25,674 a year, pro rata for part-time.
