Senior Social Media Executive, reporting to the Senior Content Manager and sitting within the wider Digital team, will be primarily focused on the management of Bruntwood SciTech’s current and future social media channels, as well as content creation and reporting alongside a wider remit of supporting content marketing activity across the portfolio. We’re looking for a social and content obsessed creative that isn’t afraid to get stuck in and make an impact.
You will be working from our lovely head office Union, although you will also be required to travel to different locations to create content as required.
What we’re looking for in a nutshell:
We are keen to see applications from creative and social-savvy individuals, with proven experience in social media management, ideally within a brand or agency setting. This person should excel in managing platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter), with a strong focus on creating engaging, social-first content. Experience in B2B social media and short-form video creation is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess written communication skills, adaptability across platforms, and the ability to work closely with design teams or shoot on location. Proficiency in Canva or other design tools, reporting skills, and familiarity with GA4 are beneficial. A passion for staying ahead of social trends and organisational skills are essential. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and bring fresh ideas to the table.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Oversee all company social media accounts management, including LinkedIn, X and Instagram with guidance and support from the Senior Content Manager to execute the strategy and drive more leads for office and lab space.
2. Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences, promote on-brand messages and ultimately drive increased engagement and conversion.
3. Work collaboratively with various departments and regional leads across the business to understand key business lettings targets, development activity, programmes, events and brand activity and ensure these are embedded into the strategy and plan.
4. Develop and implement a calendar of always-on and campaign-focused content across our social channels to optimise engagement and drive new leads.
5. Monitor and interpret performance analysis and prepare reports on social activity to ensure learnings are fed into future activations and campaigns are fully optimised to achieve greatest ROI.
6. Create content bespoke to each platform, with a mixture of social-first video content and assets that are briefed into agencies/the internal graphic design team.
7. Self-shoot, upload and edit social-first content on platform where necessary.
8. You will be an ambassador for our social channels, making sure that only the best and most relevant content is published.
9. Be proactive with new and emerging platforms, updates and formats on social and encourage new approaches to content where appropriate.
10. Work with agencies and freelancers to produce and share high production video content.
11. You will also be required to provide additional marketing support when required, such as briefing and managing the creation of additional campaign assets and content, as well as website and Google My Business updates.
