FABRIC ENGINEER
You will be responsible for delivering a reactive and PPM programme of works to the client on a day to day basis.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an electrical engineer to work on a new build Cadent location.
The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and assistance on all associated electrical equipment to a range of customers and clients.
More about the role:
Primary duties will include:
* Perform a range of maintenance work, including fire alarm testing, lamp replacement and lens cleaning, water flushing, lock maintenance and minor carpentry works.
* Carry out repairs, refurbishment and decoration to internal and external building fabric.
* Interpret and work from instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to their original trade without supervision.
* Remove damaged or broken glass and to reinstate new.
* Be able to carry out ceramic wall tile repair and replacement.
* Remove all fixed fixtures and fittings prior to decoration and to refix on completion.
* Understand fully the inter-relationship between the various maintenance trades and the wider Facilities Team.
* Will be required to carry duties on toilets, drainage, tiling and sinks.
* May be required to work overtime as and when required. Whilst there is no overtime on a regular basis, circumstances may require overtime being carried out at short notice.
Who you are:
Requirements:
* BTEC/HNC or City & Guilds Craft certificate or equivalent (NVQ3)
* City and Guilds Engineering
* Minimum 3 years relevant trade experience
* Good knowledge of H&S legislation
* Experience of Building Maintenance and systems
Additional duties:
* Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Work closely with our regional engineers as well as the rest of the Central engineering team.
* Identify variations and recommendations.
* Provide weekly progress reports on all projects to the Technical Services Manager.
* Formulate operations and maintenance manuals with our in-house engineers.
* Maintain up to date Health and Safety certificates and training.
