The SHEQ Manager will take ownership of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) processes across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Collaborating closely with compliance and project managers, this role offers the opportunity to shape SHEQ strategy, enhance operational safety, and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, there is scope to build and lead a team, developing leadership skills in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and oversee SHEQ procedures, focusing on continuous improvement and waste reduction.
* Provide regular progress and SHEQ reports to the directors while maintaining excellent internal and external communication.
* Delegate responsibilities effectively, motivate staff, and recommend investments to improve training infrastructure and workforce capability.
* Work effectively with the compliance manager and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
* Evaluate and recommend key investments in training infrastructure and new talent to support organisational growth.
Skills/Must have:
* A background working within the utilities sectors and/or telecoms industry
* Strong leadership, people management, and motivational skills, with the ability to hold employees accountable for SHEQ breaches.
* Effective organisation, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented and responsible approach.
* Skilled in risk identification and control, accident investigation, and reporting to HSE reportable event level.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with proven experience in a SHEQ managerial role.
* Self-motivated, adaptable under pressure, and capable of making strong decisions and delegating effectively.
