* Planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and completion work, along with general accounting compliance work
* Leading smaller / medium audit engagements, which will include planning executing, directing, and completing financial audits within the allocated time
* Developing audit programmes and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
* Preparing financial statements, ensuring they are compliant with relevant accounting standards
* Regular travel and time working at client's premises; a willingness to travel and access to a car is essential
* The need to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines set
* Dealing with clients at various levels
* Preparing accounts from incomplete records
