MIS and Funding Manager
* Annual Salary: £34,577 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated MIS and Funding Manager to lead our Management Information Systems team at a FE College in East Yorkshire. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient data management across the College, optimizing funding for both further and higher education. The successful candidate will enhance data integrity and streamline processes to support informed decision-making across the College.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide strong leadership and line management to the MIS team, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
* Ensure full compliance with further education (FE) and higher education (HE) funding rules and regulations.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain the integrity of College data, systems, and processes.
* Generate and validate the College Individualised Learner Record (ILR) to optimize funding and meet audit standards.
* Lead the preparation of evidence and data for internal and external audits.
* Maintain the College course file, ensuring all course data is accurate and compliant with funding and audit requirements.
* Oversee accurate recording of work placements in the ILR.
* Act as the College lead for FE and HE student loan administration.
* Ensure robust MIS processes and appropriate staffing levels are in place during main enrolment periods.
* Maintain accurate records for senior management and academic team reports, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSE Maths and English grade 4/C.
* Educated to level 3 (A level or equivalent).
* Proven experience in leading a successful team.
* Experience in a Data & Compliance role within the education sector.
* Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
* Excellent data analysis, administration, and organisational skills.
* Effective communication skills to explain complex data to non-technical teams.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, GDPR, and the Data Protection Act.
