Job responsibilities Partneriaeth Genomeg Cymru Genomics Partnership Wales (GPW) was established in 2018 to support a collaborative approach to genomics in Wales and deliver the Welsh Governments ambitious strategy. It represents several disciplines coming together to deliver a transformational programme of work that will realise the benefits of genomics from collaborative action. All partners are working towards the following vision: Working together to harness the potential of genomics to improve the health, wellbeing and prosperity of the people of Wales Genome UK: The Future of Healthcare was published by UK Government in 2020, and sets out the ambitions for how genomics will transform the health of the UK population over the next ten years. All UK nations are committed to this overall strategy and the joint working required to deliver the changes, alongside the development of their own delivery plans to align with these aims; the Genomics Delivery Plan for Wales 2022-25 was launched in December 2022.
