Job Title: Senior Inventory Controller Salary: £39,251.72 Contract : Full time & permanent Location: Stockton-upon-Tees The Opportunity As a Senior Inventory Controller, you'll independently resolve inventory issues by investigating physical stock, transaction history, and bills of materials. You'll implement solutions to fix process problems causing discrepancies. Additionally, you'll conduct physical counts to ensure accurate inventory and improve overall accuracy. As a Senior Inventory Controller, you are accountable for, but not limited to: - Lead control group counts and collaborate with management to resolve inventory issues and gain approval. - Drive cross-functional projects to enhance inventory accuracy and work with the accounts department to resolve Goods Received Not Invoiced and Goods Invoiced Not Received discrepancies. - Perform all inventory counter functions, including investigating transaction history, checking receipts, and ensuring correct material dispersal. - Support departmental goals, conduct location audits, and adhere to health and safety policies. - Embody Caterpillar's core values: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, and Sustainability. Pending the number of applications, the criteria for the position may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting What You Can Demonstrate: - Inventory Management: Skilled at keeping track of inventory levels to ensure everything is accurate and runs smoothly. - Analytical Skills: Great at analysing data, spotting trends, and solving problems related to inventory issues. - ERP Systems: U sing systems to track inventory, manage goods receipts and issues, reconcile discrepancies, and generate reports. - Communication: Excellent at communicating with different departments and team members. - Attention to Detail: Very detail-oriented, ensuring all inventory tasks are done accurately.
