The Role:
As a Locum Social Worker in the Children & Families team, you will:
1. Carry out comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs, risks, and strengths.
2. Develop and implement tailored care plans to achieve positive outcomes.
3. Work collaboratively with families, schools, healthcare providers, and partner agencies to ensure holistic support.
4. Conduct home visits, attend court proceedings, and represent the local authority in multi-agency meetings.
5. Manage a diverse caseload, balancing competing demands with professionalism and efficiency.

About You:
1. Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
2. Experience in safeguarding, assessments, and care planning within Children & Families teams.
3. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
4. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills.
5. Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
