Reporting to: Production Manager
What will you do?
The role will entail the manufacture of animal feed through a series of processes to a high standard whilst maintaining high safety, hygiene & efficiency standards. The successful candidate for this role will be required to work shifts.
Tasks and responsibilities as a Shift Operator:
1. Run the blending/pelleting and master weigh process in an efficient manner to deliver the production plan on time.
2. Communicate all issues/delays against the plan to colleagues and other departments.
3. Maintain the routine machine maintenance and cleaning schedules.
4. Optimise utilisation of finished product bin space.
5. Maintain site processes/standards in line with the UFAS code of practice.
6. Participate in the Tier accountability process and update the daily vis board.
Your CV shows:
1. Experience working with process control systems (Desirable)
2. Counter balance FLT licence. (Desirable)
3. Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
