The Role
As a Senior Supervisor on our Southern Water contract, you will be required to supervise and monitor the performance of water teams. Attending site meetings to maximise day-to-day operations, ensuring the planning of work, control of plant, labour and ensure HSE compliance.
In this fast-paced environment, we’ll be making good use of health & safety expertise, as well as your organisation. You will ensure our field teams are effectively managed and able to cope with project demand and appropriate assistance and mentorship is provided to promote a ‘right first time and zero harm safety culture’.
These are just a few of the activities you’ll be involved in:
* Promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas
* Proactively manage schedules to minimise disruption and preventable mistakes
* Reduce aborts, re-work and traffic management fines
* Manage employee training and ensure that people are developed to make their best contribution
* Ensure all work complies with relevant H&S and environmental legislation
What you need to be successful
You will be an experienced supervisor with good all-round technical knowledge of the construction & water industry, including Meter and PRV installs, possessing a NRSWA Supervisor qualification, blue card and a thorough understanding of the Streetworks & Traffic Management acts is ideal.
